Swipe Aftertrace

In social media reel videos, vertical swipes make one piece of content flow into the next. Each swipe can lead to an unexpected encounter. Yet after closing the screen, it can also feel as if only time has passed.

Swipe Aftertrace is a work that turns attention toward the act of swiping itself. It follows the traces left after swiping, using those traces as a way to reconsider the act of swiping.
